What if you woke up tomorrow and every like on every photo you’ve ever posted disappeared? You panic, what the hell is going on? You open up your Snapchat to see if anyone has viewed your most recent mundane adventure made 15 second epic and you can’t see who viewed your shining moment. Gasp! OMFG.

Welcome to The Last Gen, my dream project since 2017. I'm Melanie🧜🏼‍♀️. Made when I thought no one was watching, but I was wrong. He was watching↑✝️. Rules do not apply to me and often find myself searching for the impossible simply to prove it isn’t. Hyper-critical, every day I’m a different person. I’m a time keeper, never late and always on the dot in fear losing time and wondering "what if." I’ve learned time doesn’t wait for you... but what we know is that God can redeem time.

For five years I had created an alter ego on The Last Gen of a girl that was healed, 🥀but it was a lie. I believed the lie to survive a time of deep trauma and pain. The truth is, I was on my knees begging God for mercy. He saved me again and again, but I could not fully see what He was doing as my eyes were closed. Here at TLG we are trying to open our eyes and truly learn how to listen to the One that loves us the most. The Last Gen is an editorial, a podcast, and a space where I can give purpose to my pain and tell you what I know. God is real🙏🏽🕊.
